Minister Born in England in 1810, Henry Caswall became in 1830, the first graduate of Kenyon College, Gambier, OH, to be ordained a priest in the Protestant Episcopal Church. In 1834 he was named Professor of Sacred Literature at the Theological Seminary of the Diocese of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. His son Robert Clarke Caswall, a priest of the Church of England, came to the United States in 1871 and first served parishes in Maine and Canada. He later worked with Blacks ...
